Short & Brief Project Description

The project involves execution of comprehensive earthwork and excavation works for industrial infrastructure at Jindal Steel Odisha Limited, Angul. The scope includes excavation in soil, soft rock, and hard rock for foundations of buildings and equipment, trenches, pits, drains, tunnels, basements, tanks, pavements, manholes, and chambers. Works are carried out using both mechanical and manual methods, including lifts, dewatering, shoring, strutting, slope dressing, and safety provisions. The project also covers transportation and disposal of excavated materials up to 8 km, backfilling and refilling of excavated areas with proper compaction, and all associated allied civil works in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
